Job Summary

The Corporate Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting corporate finance activities including financial analysis, funding and capital management, Sukuk programme monitoring, and investment evaluation. The role involves preparing financial models, assisting in capital-raising initiatives, and ensuring compliance with financing covenants and regulatory requirements. This position offers exposure to large‑scale project financing, structured Sukuk programmes, and strategic investment activities under Malaysia’s flagship East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the execution of corporate finance initiatives including fundraising, refinancing, and Sukuk programme management.
2. Assist in preparing detailed financial models, cash flow forecasts, and investment appraisals for decision‑making.
3. Monitor financial covenants, loan disbursements, and compliance with financing agreements.
4. Conduct financial due diligence, benchmarking, and market analysis to support funding strategies.
5. Coordinate with rating agencies, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
6. Prepare reports and presentations for management, board, and stakeholders on financing activities.
7. Support the implementation of treasury and investment strategies.
8. Participate in continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives to enhance financial operations and analytics.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Big 4 audit, corporate finance, or investment banking environment.
3. Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and project financing structures.
4. Familiarity with Sukuk/Islamic finance instruments and capital market processes is an advantage.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modelling tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
8. A proactive team player with strong business acumen and a growth mindset.
