The candidate will be responsible for writing compelling copy and collaborating with various creative teams while engaging clients across multiple levels. The copywriter who, after a few years’ experience, is beginning to hone her instincts for what works and what does not. He/ She not only recognizes the importance of appraising and editing her own work, he/she is becoming skilled at it, as well. His/ Her best ideas are not just creatively fresh but strategically sound and on brand, too.
He/ She is adept, or becoming adept, at speaking with clients and presenting copy and concepts to them, either in person or over the phone. His/ Her colleagues trust his/her to act as a representative of the team and the work. The copywriter may be the only writer on a project, he/ she may be supervising a junior writer, or he/she may be working side by side with other writers.
In any case, he/she is expected to take responsibility for the quality of any copywriting deliverable in which he/she has a hand, ensuring that it meets Publicis Groupe’s standards for creative excellence and client satisfaction. Copywriters should possess the ability to work with clients in different industries and must be able to work comfortably with people from different creative disciplines and with different creative teams. He/ She should also be able to collaborate effectively with producers, account managers, and others outside the immediate creative team (e.g., Digital Studio, production vendors).
