A leading healthcare institution in Malaysia is seeking an experienced individual to join their culinary team. The role involves preparing food in accordance with safety regulations and ensuring all items are prepared with care to meet guest expectations. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in the healthcare or hospitality industry and relevant certifications. This full-time position requires dedication, including weekend shifts. Prepare Mise en Place 3-day advance in a proper manner following production plan.
Ensure practise the right method of cleaning and cutting of raw materials.
Prepare and accommodate all daily food products and guest's requests.
Ensure food items are properly stored and apply FIFO system.
Ensure stocks are available at all times.
Ensure all equipment are in order and functioning well.
Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality industry.
Basic knowledge of HALAL, HACCP and Food Safety.
Has valid Typhoid Vaccine and Food Handling Course Certificate.
Willing to 6 days per week including weekends and public holidays.
Average processing is around 2 to 4 weeks.
