Job summary

A legal firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated conveyancing secretary to assist lawyers with SPA and loan documentation. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of relevant experience, possess an SPM certificate, and be bilingual in English and Bahasa. A good working attitude and attention to detail are essential. Our client is a legal firm based in KL, Klang and Puchong. They are looking for a dedicated conveyancing secretary to join their team.

Job Responsibilities
  • To assist lawyers in handling all conveyancing SPA matter including sub sale and project cases.
  • To assist lawyers in handling all loan documentation for financing and re-financing.
  • All other related conveyancing matters such as discharge of charge/receipt and reassignments, tenancy agreements and etc.
  • To liaise with clients, bankers, agents, relevant government authorities and other relevant parties.
  • Raise payment vouchers and invoices and to follow up on collection in a timely manner.
  • Monitor progress and update clients' files.
  • To undertake any ad-hoc activities from the Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least an SPM Certificate.
  • 2-4 years of experience in handling SPA and/or loan documentation.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Spoken and written English and Bahasa is required. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Willing to learn and take on new tasks and a good team player.
  • Good working attitude towards job responsibilities and meticulous with details.
Remuneration
  • RM 3,000 - RM 5,000
