Job Description:

Conveyancing Lawyer
  • To manage real estate transactions for both commercial and residential properties for sub‑sale and ensure all transactions meet their legal obligations
  • Prepare and peruse legal documents for commercial and consumer loan facilities (e.g. facility agreement, security documents like charges, assignments and etc)
  • Draft, review, vet and negotiate Sale and Purchase Agreement for both primary project sales and secondary sub‑sales transactions
  • Advise clients of the intricacies of the Housing Developer Act (HDA) and other relevant regulations and compliance matters
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including developers, real estate agents, clients, bankers, financial institutions and government departments (e.g. Land Office, Inland Revenue Board for stamping and etc)
  • Provide clear, timely and practical legal advice to clients, ensure they are kept informed throughout the process
Conveyancing Secretary
  • Provide dedicated secretarial and administrative support to our legal practitioners. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of files from inception to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for our clients.
  • Prepare and manage all documentation related to project and sub‑sale property transactions, including Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), Deeds of Assignment, and other ancillary documents.
  • Prepare loan documentation in liaison with various financial institutions, including preparing facility letters, security documents, and managing the perfection of charges process.
  • Liaise and follow up effectively with clients, real estate agents, bankers, government agencies (e.g., Land Office, IRB), and other relevant parties.
  • Manage the post‑signing process, including monitoring deadlines, managing the stakeholder account, and preparing settlement statements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including bankruptcy and title searches.
  • Maintain an efficient and organized filing system (both physical and digital) and ensure all critical dates are meticulously diarized.
  • Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed of their transaction's progress.
Accounts Executive
  • Manage client trust accounts with the utmost accuracy and integrity including processing receipts, disbursements, and performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and process pre‑bills, edit narratives and generate final e‑invoices for clients in a timely manner using the firm’s management software
  • Handle full cycle of accounts payable (vendor payments, firm expenses) and Accounts Receivable (client payment processing, application of retainers, and monitoring aged debtors
  • Work closely with legal secretaries and lawyers to ensure costs are accurately recorded and allocated to the correct client files
  • Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing and contribute to the preparation of financial reports for firm management
  • Assist with internal and external financial audits
  • Any other general admin work

Qualifications and Requirements:

Conveyancing Lawyer
  • A qualified lawyer who has been admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
  • 3 to 4 years of solid, hands‑on experience in conveyancing, expertise in handling both developer project sales and sub‑sale transactions and documentation for both commercial and consumer banking loans.
  • Proven ability to manage files independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is a strong advantage for client liaison.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and client‑focused.
Conveyancing Secretary
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of solid, hands‑on experience as a Conveyancing Secretary within a law firm setting.
  • In‑depth experience in handling both project and sub‑sale transactions, SPA documentation, and loan/financing documentation from start to finish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with conveyancing practice management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize a high‑volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is a strong advantage.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and team‑oriented attitude.
Accounts Executive
  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3 to 4 years proven experience in an accounting role, with a strong preference for experience within a law firm or other professional services environment
  • In‑depth, hands‑on‑experience with client trust accounting
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, especially when handling confidential client information
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
