Job description

As a Conveyancing Clerk at Tay and Associates', you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's conveyancing practice. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, and will involve providing administrative and legal support to the conveyancing team.

What you'll be doing
  • Preparing and processing conveyancing documents, such as sale and purchase agreements, land title transfers, and loan documentation
  • Conducting land title and other property-related searches
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties to ensure the smooth completion of conveyancing transactions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all conveyancing matters
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and other administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and legal documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
