Job summary

A leading multinational company in Georgetown, Penang is seeking a qualified candidate for a position focusing on cost reporting and analysis. Responsibilities include preparing monthly actual cost reports and supporting project initiatives. The ideal applicant must have a bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in auditing or accounting. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is advantageous. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accountancy/Banking is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or controlling.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

• Prepare monthly actual cost reporting.
• Partner with support entities for timely forecast submission.

• Support or lead projects and process improvement.

Job description

Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly actual cost reporting.
• Partner with the support entities to ensure timely forecast submission
• Support analysis of cost details, actual vs FC gap analysis
• Support/Lead projects
• Support process improvement through ESSA

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or equivalent.
• Fresh grads / audit or accounting or controlling experience 1-2 years
• Require Skills: Exel, Words, SAP (added advantage)
• Required language: English, Mandarin
• Good communication & presentation skills
