Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Contracts Executive - Site Quantity Surveyor to manage pre- and post-contract administration for designated projects in Malaysia. The role involves cost monitoring, tender management, and tender negotiations with contractors and consultants.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of construction experience, with a professional certificate or higher, and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in construction.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin for client communication.

Responsibilities

• In-charge of all pre and post contract administration for designated project.
• Prepare and monitor project costing at regular basis.
• Organise tenders calling, conduct tender interviews and evaluate tenders received.
• Negotiate tender prices and recommend awards of contracts.
• Site valuation and prepare payment recommendations for contractors and consultants.
• Project cashflow outflow projection.
• Perform any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management.
