Contracts Managers/Senior Contracts Executives

40160 Shah Alam, Selangor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Contracts Director in providing support for procurement, cost and contract administration at assigned Projects.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements.
  • Ensuring all project contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing contract variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Monitoring contract performance and ensuring obligations are met by all parties.
  • Working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and site teams to manage cost control and risk.
  • Advising management on contractual rights, obligations, and potential risks.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all contract-related activities.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on contract performance, project costs, and forecasts.
  • Supporting tendering and procurement activities by providing contractual input.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry. Preferably in Main contractor or Civil & Building works.
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to organize, co-ordinate and control payment claims from subcontractors.
  • Well versed in budget monitoring and post contract administration or tender and pre contract administration.
  • Possess high level of integrity, strong analytical and organization skills and result oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders simultaneously.
