About the Company

A reputable contractor is looking for a Contract Manager to manage pre‑ and post‑contract activities across high‑rise and industrial projects in Penang and Johor Bahru.

About the Job
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from pre‑contract (tender, bidding, cost estimation) to post‑contract (claims, final accounts) for high‑rise or industrial construction projects.
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contract conditions, and subcontractor agreements in line with PAM or similar standard forms of contract.
  • Evaluate tenders, conduct risk assessments, and lead negotiation processes to secure favourable terms.
  • Manage contract execution and administration, including progress payments, variations (VO), extension of time (EOT) claims, and cost control reporting.
  • Provide contractual advice to internal stakeholders (e.g., project team, commercial team, management) on project risks and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all contract matters.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and legal teams to resolve disputes and issues effectively.
About the Manager/Team

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will lead and manage a dynamic contract management team.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related.
  • At least 8 years of contract management experience.
  • Prior experience in high‑rise or industrial projects.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
