Overview

We are looking for a CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR at Selangor Halal Hub Pulau Indah Industrial Park Se, Lot 57 Jalan Sungai Pinang 4 3KS11, Port Klang, 42920, Malaysia. Permanent contract.

Oleon has over 1,000 employees worldwide in 10 countries. We are looking for a CI Coordinator to strengthen our department.

As a CI Coordinator, you will implement Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects to realize improvements creating value (EBITDA, cash, avoided costs, HSE, CSR) and install and nurture a continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities
  • Follow health, safety, environment, and housekeeping rules; identify risks and take corrective actions
  • Work with management to find and prioritize opportunities for process and method improvements
  • Turn improvement ideas into action plans or projects and ensure they meet goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Use Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.) to coordinate and implement initiatives
  • Support and coach colleagues (green/yellow belts) in continuous improvement activities
  • Develop, optimize, and enforce best practices, procedures, and methods across departments
  • Lead task forces, encourage collaboration, and align best practices with other plants
  • Organize communication and training to build support and ensure smooth change implementation
  • Collect and analyze data, measure results, validate savings with Controlling, and report to management
  • Share knowledge and provide training on Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
  • Promote continuous improvement culture (AIC, 5S, SOPs, DMAIC, OEE, Kaizen, etc.) and ensure application
  • Keep skills and expertise updated and share knowledge with colleagues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Lean Six Sigma Black / Green Belt certified
  • 5 to 8 years of working experience in the related field is ideal for this position
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma)
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization
  • Must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
