Overview

Role: Content Moderator - Thai Speaker | Location: KL, Malaysia | Experience: 0-1 Years | Summary: Content Moderator plays an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user generated content. The role may involve reviewing and analyzing explicit or sensitive content that can be disturbing, including text, images, or videos. The employer emphasizes safety, wellbeing, and a resilient workforce.

Responsibilities

• Understand and remain up to date with client’s policies and guidelines.
• Review user reports regarding website content.
• Analyze and identify content not in compliance and flag for action in a timely manner.
• Make well-balanced decisions and help resolve inquiries according to defined policies and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve issues such as account support requests and reports of potentially abusive content.
• Review reported content within agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
• Recognize trends and patterns and escalate issues outside policy.
• Meet base productivity and quality requirements of the client.
• Use market-specific knowledge to spot and scope scalable solutions to support the user community.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest solutions.
• Review of sensitive content involving graphic or disturbing subject matter as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh graduate with up to 6 months of professional work experience (preferable from BPO industry). Diploma and above.
• Fluent in Indonesian and English.
• Moderate to high proficiency in using Google products, including YouTube, Gmail, Calendar, Google Drive.
• Knowledgeable with channels that provide on-demand video (preferable).
• Experience with confidential information collection and management (preferable).
