A leading social media platform is seeking a Content Moderator in Kuala Lumpur to ensure the safety and legal compliance of user-uploaded content. The role requires fluency in Tamil and English, strong attention to detail, adaptability, and resilience in managing emotional demands. Responsibilities include developing content standards, coordinating with other departments, and improving content management strategies. Experience in a BPO, call center, or customer service environment is preferred.
Our Content Moderators support our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content which could include images of violence, animal cruelty, hate speech, violent extremism, or content that exploits or endangers children. Our Content Moderators review a large amount of videos per hour on these topics in continuous succession during each shift.
Content that Content Moderators interact with includes images, video, and text related to everyday life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying, hate speech, child safety, depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
