Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our digital content team. This position focuses on producing and curating high-quality, strategic content for training courses, membership communities, and interactive forums. The Content Editor will also conduct competitor analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and engagement across our platforms.
The ideal candidate will have experience in content development, digital communities, or online learning, with a strong eye for structure, tone, and educational clarity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain structured content for training programs, learning modules, and course materials, particularly to educate users about financial investment.
- Create content guides and copy for membership portals, user onboarding, and in-app communities.
- Moderate and enhance content within user forums and discussion boards to ensure quality and engagement.
- Support video-based content by providing clear scripts, summaries, or subtitles as needed.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex information into user-friendly formats.
Competitor Research & UX Optimization
- Perform ongoing competitor analysis, including benchmarking content styles, formats, and delivery methods.
- Research digital learning and fintech community trends to inform content strategy.
- Identify UX/content friction points through feedback and analytics, and propose improvements.
- Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to align content with platform journeys.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, digital course development, or community engagement; must have investment experience (fintech/finance).
- Strong writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Experience with LMS, community platforms (e.g., Discourse, Circle, Teachable), or fintech/education tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with content calendars, wireframes, and UX writing practices.
- Proactive and organized, able to manage multiple content pipelines and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
- Knowledge of SEO writing and content structuring tools (e.g., Notion, Confluence, Figma).
- Experience with user interviews or usability testing.
- Background in fintech, online education, or SaaS content environments.
- Understanding of MENA market user behavior and content localization nuances.
