Job summary

Electrolux is seeking a Content Designer / UX writer for the Digital Experience team to craft content for appliances and companion apps, including onboarding and account management. You will design content for mobile UIs within cross-functional, agile teams in Kuala Lumpur and Stockholm.

The role emphasizes localization, accessibility, and collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing, Post-Purchase, and Design. A portfolio demonstrating web/mobile content is required.

Responsibilities

• Design excellent content experiences, including information architecture, UI microcopy, and instructional content.
• Manage content and translations in Figma and CMS, ensuring timely biweekly releases.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Post-Purchase, R&D, and Brand for coherent customer journeys.
• Work with design, research, product and engineering peers to solve problems.
• Contribute to the design system, glossary, and guidelines.
• Use data and research to inform design decisions and improve UX across touchpoints.

All about the role:

We'relooking for a Content Designer / UX writer tojointheDigitalExperience team. Digital Experience designs content for appliances and the apps that control them, like washing machines, robot vacuums, air purifiers, and ovens.

This role focus on core experience, such as connecting appliances, account management, onboarding, and other content that’s shared across all appliances. You’lldesigncontentformobileUIs,as part of cross-functional, agile development teams in Kuala Lumpur and Stockholm.

A Typical Day

• Designexcellentcontent experiences. This includes,but is not limited to,information architecture,UI microcopy and copy, instructional content, naming conventions, and other elements of the end-to-end user experience.
• Manage your content and translations in Figma and our CMS. Ensure content is translated in time for biweekly releases.
• Workwith stakeholders outside of Digital Experience to ensure a coherent, consistent customer journey. For example, Marketing, Post-Purchase, R&D, and Brand.
• Collaborate with your design, research,productand engineering peers to solve problems.
• Contribute to our design system,regularly addingto our global glossary and creating guidelinesand patterns.
• Use data, insights, and research to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience across touchpoints.

Required

• 5+ years of experience writing content for web/mobile products.
• Solid understanding ofmobile UXdesign principles and interaction patterns.
• Ability to design simple screens and flows using a design system is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.(English is our sourcelanguage and workinglanguage).
• Experience with content management systems, such as Phrase.
• Experience with design tools, such as Figma.
• An online portfolio, or PDF, that shows a range of your work.
• **Please note that candidates who pass the recruiter screening willbe asked to present two case studies to the hiring committee. We’d love if at least one of the case studies could showcase mobile work.
