Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Marketing Content Assistant in Kuala Lumpur to support marketing initiatives with compelling content across flyers, posters, and social media. You will coordinate campaigns, produce short-form video content, and assist with research and post-production for brand communications.

The role requires a diploma or degree in film, media, or communications, plus hands-on CapCut and Canva skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communications or a related field.
• Basic working knowledge of CapCut and Canva is a must.
• Interest in marketing, content creation, and campaign planning.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other language.
• Mandarin or Malay is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with using ChatGPT for task simplification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing flyers, posters, and copy tailored for branches and intermediaries to support marketing initiatives.
• Plan, conceptualize and coordinate campaigns to support sales objectives and boost customer engagement.
• Deliver short-form vertical video content aligned with the brand identity.
• Support concept research, filming, and post-production for brand content, corporate videos, and other shoots.
• Support marketing activities for product launches or customer campaigns in collaboration with team members.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, target audiences, and growth opportunities.
• Monitor audience engagement and trends to refine content strategies.
• Perform data entry tasks to ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information.
• Handle administrative duties related to project work, sales activities, and campaign coordination as needed.
