Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Content/Data Analyst to ensure the quality and timely delivery of data powering our products. You will join a multinational team and focus on Officer & Directors data for China and Taiwan, while collaborating with stakeholders across locations.

The role requires fluent English and professional Mandarin, plus strong MS Office skills. We offer a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and an Associate career path within a global

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Understanding of Financial Markets and Statements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle Officers & Directors (O&D) data focusing on China and Taiwan.
• Process data and input into the database with accuracy.
• Maintain data quality, timeliness and completeness.
• Resolve queries from internal and external clients promptly.
• Support new projects to create and maintain content.
• Collaborate with Data Operations, Customers and third party suppliers.

Required Day To Day Responsibilities

• This role is required to handle Officers & Directors (O&D) process by collecting and maintaining information regarding C-level executives and board members with focus on China and Taiwan market
• Process data and apply in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge to add value
• Take ownership for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness
• Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients
• Support new projects to create and maintain content
• Work effectively within teams or by yourself, be proactive to identify and resolve problems
• Liaise with Data Operations, Customers and third party suppliers
• Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness and automation
• Support continuous improvement of the process by sharing observations and feedback on the process
• Use appropriate language skills to understand, source financial information, and build relationships with overseas market contacts
• Document, maintain, and adhere to established policies, procedures, work processes, and current data management requirements.
• Backup other analysts in the team during their absence

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Professional working level in Mandarin as the role requires data collection in this language on daily basis
• Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Understanding of Financial Markets and Statements is desirable

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
