Job summary

Milliman in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior consultant to join our life insurance actuarial consulting team. You will participate in mergers & acquisitions, risk management, and business/product strategy work alongside traditional actuarial tasks.

This role may involve work in Malaysia and other regional markets with occasional international travel. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, leadership experience, Prophet modelling exposure, and strong English

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of work experience as a qualified actuary in life insurance, reinsurer or consultancy.
• Experience leading or managing teams and/or projects.
• Exposure to modelling work using Prophet, financial reporting and insurance regulation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Engage in traditional actuarial work for life insurance.

Milliman is seeking a senior consultant to join our life insurance actuarial consulting team in Kuala Lumpur. The candidate can expect to be involved in mergers & acquisitions, risk management, and business/product strategy work in addition to traditional actuarial work. This role will involve exposure to work in Malaysia and other markets around the region and may involve international travel from time to time.

The ideal candidate will:
