Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a Consultant - Cybersecurity Integration to support cybersecurity workstreams within large-scale integration programmes such as acquisitions and transformations.

You will assess security posture, identify risks, and enable Day 1 and post-integration readiness while coordinating across IT, OT, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or technology consulting.
• Experience in security domains: Security assessments / GRC, IT infrastructure and cloud security, OT/industrial environments.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Job description

As a Consultant - Cybersecurity Integration, you will support the cybersecurity workstream of large-scale integration programmes (e.g., acquisitions, divestments, and transformations). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess current security posture, identify risks, and enable secure Day 1 and post-integration readiness.

This role requires a strong blend of cybersecurity fundamentals, structured problem solving, and stakeholder coordination across business, IT, and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Assessment & Analysis
• Conduct asset discovery and inventory validation across IT, OT, and business environments
• Perform security control assessments against defined frameworks and integration requirements
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies impacting integration outcomes
• Integration Execution Support
• Support the execution of cybersecurity integration plans across multiple workstreams
• Coordinate with IT, OT, and business teams to gather required data and inputs
• Assist in tracking progress of integration activities and resolving blockers
• Risk & Remediation Management
• Maintain and track risk logs, issues, and remediation actions
• Support prioritization of security remediation aligned with Day 1 and transition milestones
• Monitor closure of gaps and provide status updates to leadership
• Day 1 & Transition Readiness
• Support activities required to ensure Day 1 security readiness
• Contribute to transition planning and stabilization efforts post Day 1
• Assist in validating readiness checkpoints and acceptance criteria
• Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
• Maintain project documentation, including assessment outputs, risk registers, and action trackers
• Ensure documentation is structured, traceable, and audit-ready
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or technology consulting
• Experience in one or more domains:
  • Security assessments / GRC
  • IT infrastructure and cloud security
  • OT/industrial environments
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience supporting complex projects or transformations is preferred
