About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sdn Bhd, based in the Sandakan District of Sabah. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Monitor progress and identify and resolve any issues or risks that arise during the construction process
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project performance
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all construction activities
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction management role, preferably in the Sandakan region
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all stakeholders
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
