Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire construction process, from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, considering factors such as manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders to review project plans, designs and specifications, providing input on constructability, feasibility, and potential issues.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, including pre‑construction, progress and coordination meetings, to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Monitor and track project progress, costs and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans, safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve construction issues, conflicts and changes, and ensure proper documentation and communication of such matters to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits and inspections.
  • Foster a culture of safety on construction sites, promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements, cost‑saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
  • Be accountable for quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
Qualifications
