Job summary

Job description

Develops 3D model of products or product application to visualize designs.

Drafting technical drawings using the CAD software.

Working closely with engineers, manufacturing team and other professionals to ensure designs meet the requirement and standard.

Resolving design challenges and optimizing designs for functionality, manufacturability, and efficiency.

Adding annotations, dimensions, and other necessary details to drawings for clarity and accuracy.

Revising designs based on feedback and making iterations to improve the final product.

Checking designs for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with relevant regulations and standard.

Effectively communicating design ideas and specifications to team members.

Keeping up with latest CAD software tools and techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency in design work.

Effectively communicating design requirements, progress, and any potential issues to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project.

Identifying and addressing design challenges proactively to minimize delays and optimize project outcomes.

Properly documenting design iterations, changes, and decisions to maintain a clear record of design process for future reference.

REQUIREMENT

Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or any related field

Experienced with Autodesk Inventor & Autodesk AutoCAD

Minimum 2 years working in a professional environment

Strong computer skills ad extensive knowledge of design software

Good understanding of materials and process in related manufacturing and engineering field

Able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision and guidance.
