Job Description
Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

Job Responsibilities
- Operate and control blending and compounding processes, including tanks, heaters, and transfer systems.
- Manage blending recipes, ratios, heating conditions, and sequences according to approved formulations.
- Ensure safe, stable, and consistent operations during start-up, changeover, and shutdown.
- Coordinate material movement from raw materials to finished products and loading (Flexi-bag / ISO-tank).
- Prevent cross-contamination and off-spec products through proper procedures and flushing.
- Support production to maintain smooth operations and product quality.
- Assist in product development, trials, and evaluation of new raw materials.
- Work with Production and Laboratory teams to ensure raw material and product quality.
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain process control documents and technical records.
- Participate in safety reviews (MOC, HAZOP, PSSR) and support commissioning of new facilities.
- Coordinate with R&D on formulations, technology updates, and product approvals.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Strong engineering knowledge in your field; skilled with tools and software for simulation, analysis, or design.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking with ability to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions.
- Project Management: Plan and execute R&D projects, manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to convey technical concepts and prepare reports.
- Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and experimental design using Excel, Python, or similar tools.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Creativity & Innovation: Generate new ideas for product development and process improvement; committed to continuous learning.
Knowledge
- Engineering & R&D Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering principles, research methods, and materials or processes in your field.
- Standards & Regulations: Familiar with industry standards (ISO, safety, environmental) and QA/QC practices.
- Materials & Manufacturing: Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies.
- Intellectual Property: Awareness of IP rights and patent processes related to product development.
- Market Awareness: Understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor products.
- Sustainability: Knowledge of eco-friendly design, sustainable materials, and energy-efficient processes.
Experience
- R&D Experience: 2–5 years in research, product/process design, testing, and innovation.
- Project Execution: Hands-on experience from concept to prototype development, testing, and commercialization.
- Collaboration: Worked with production, quality, regulatory, and marketing teams for smooth project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Participation in initiatives like Lean or Six Sigma to enhance processes.
- Innovation & NPD: Proven record of developing new products or improving existing ones.
