Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a Business Compliance Officer to help ensure operations meet regulatory requirements and uphold the bank's integrity. You will work with various stakeholders to identify risks and implement effective controls.

Key responsibilities include performing control testing, surveillance for fraud and data loss, and preparing risk and compliance reports. A law/business degree with 3–5 years of compliance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business, or related field with 3–5 years of compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess compliance risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform control testing and compliance checks per guidelines.
• Conduct surveillance to identify fraud, threats, or data loss (including system access).
• Escalate control gaps and non-compliance timely.
• Support preparation and submission of risk and compliance reports and dashboards.
• Assist in data collection, reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
• Support Business Continuity Planning and Operational Resilience documentation and reporting.
• Conduct stand-up or virtual training and briefings to staff.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and support implementation.
• Support projects, process improvements, and day-to-day control execution.
• Provide administrative support, requests handling, and issue escalation.
