As we expand our footprint worldwide, we are shaping the future of the digital payments space and driving the next chapter of growth.

We are looking for a diligent and detail‑oriented Compliance Analyst to join our compliance team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for managing compliance‑related documentation, due diligence processes, and ongoing liaison with financial institutions and strategic partners. You will play a key role in ensuring that all third‑party engagements are conducted in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulatory obligations.

This position requires a strong understanding of anti‑money laundering (AML) and counter‑financing of terrorism (CFT) requirements, particularly as they relate to onboarding, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring of external counterparties. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment with relevant regulatory standards, particularly in relation to third‑party banking and partnership engagements.

What You’ll Do
Banking Compliance Support

Manage and complete banking‑related documentation such as onboarding forms, RFIs (Requests for Information), and due diligence questionnaires.

Liaise with banking counterparts to coordinate responses, clarify compliance matters, and maintain accurate records of submissions and correspondence.

Track and support onboarding and maintenance of new and existing banking relationships.

Ensure that all banking engagements are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including AML/CFT guidelines issued by MAS, BNM, and SC, as well as the Payment Services Act (PSA) and other relevant laws.

Partnership Compliance Support

Handle compliance documentation for commercial and strategic partnerships, including due diligence questionnaires and onboarding forms.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide timely and accurate responses to compliance‑related requests.

Maintain updated records of partner compliance status and support periodic reviews or audits as needed.

Compliance Alignment & Reporting

Ensure ongoing alignment of banking and partnership arrangements with internal compliance standards and regulatory obligations.

Escalate key risk or compliance matters to the Compliance Manager or MLRO as appropriate.

Assist in updating internal SOPs, policies, and documentation workflows related to third‑party engagements.

Support audits, reviews, or regulatory inspections related to banking or partnership activities.

General & Auxiliary Support

Assist with internal reporting requirements relating to third‑party risk management.

Contribute to internal compliance projects or initiatives aimed at improving due diligence and onboarding efficiency.

Maintain proactive communication with relevant departments to ensure timely and complete submissions.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Law, Accounting & Finance, Economics or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, risk, or onboarding roles in financial services, fintech, or payments.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong business partnering ability across internal teams and external stakeholders. Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Mandarin and English) is preferred.

High ethical standards, self‑driven, and quick to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking skills.

Good to Have

Professional certifications in AML/CTF (e.g., CAMS, ACAMS).

Experience in the Crypto/Blockchain industry.

Prior involvement in third‑party onboarding, due diligence, or vendor risk management.
