Job summary

Horizon Onehealth Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Resident Doctor to join our Johor Bahru clinic. You will deliver patient-centred primary care, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up across a busy clinic.

The role requires MMC registration, an MBBS/MD or equivalent, and willingness to work a clinic roster, including weekends and holidays. Collaboration with nurses and support staff is essential for high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Recognised MBBS, MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fully registered with the MMC.
• Valid APC before commencing duties.
• Strong clinical judgement and patient-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments and examinations.
• Diagnose conditions and plan treatment and follow-up care.
• Prescribe medication in line with standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Provide guidance to clinic staff and collaborate with the team.
• Escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
• Support preventive healthcare and health promotion activities.
