Job summary

Puteri Specialist Hospital is seeking an attentive healthcare assistant to provide basic nursing care in line with hospital policies. The role requires collaboration with ward staff, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and timely reporting of incidents.

Preferred candidates have hospital experience, Malay language proficiency, and English fluency. On-the-job training will be provided; candidates should be flexible for scheduled hours, shifts, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.
• Certified healthcare assistants would be a priority.
• Experience working in a hospital setting is an advantage.
• On the job training/in-service training will be provided.
• Able to converse fluently and write in English language and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care in accordance with established standards and policies.
• Coordinate with team members within the ward/unit.
• Report incidents or issues to nursing leadership and relevant authorities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient safety throughout shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ward, equipment, and records.
