Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide basic patient care aligned with the hospital's vision and nursing services. You will obtain ward reports and assignments at each shift, supporting the Unit Manager and senior Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include regular nursing rounds, ADL assistance, ward cleanliness, patient transport, and coordination with laboratory and pharmacy for supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting is an advantage.
• Able to converse fluently and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to work on scheduled hours, shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care aligned with hospital vision and nursing services.
• Notify nursing leaders of any situations impacting quality of care.
• Obtain ward reports at shift start and support unit staff.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds and assist with activities of daily living.
• Keep ward, store, fridge and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with transporting patients and accompany to other services.
• Dispatch specimens and collect results, manage ward stocks.
