Job summary

A corporate services company in Melaka is seeking a Company Secretary / Senior Secretarial Assistant to assist with corporate governance and compliance. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in secretarial work, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This position entails handling secretarial duties, preparing meeting documentation, and interacting with various divisions.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in secretarial works preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Good time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the Company Secretarial team.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Prepare pre and post meetings documentation.

Company Secretary / Senior Secretarial Assistant

We are a company located in Melaka providing company secretarial, support in bookkeeping, administrative and also insurance services as an insurance agent to our Group of Companies with its principal activities consisting of investment holding, property rental, oil palm production, bird nest harvesting, property development and property management.

We are seeking resourceful team players for the following positions in our Company Secretarial Department :

Company Secretary / Senior Secretarial Assistant

  • This position is primarily responsible to provide assistance to the Company Secretarial team on the best practices of Corporate Governance and to ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and requirement.
  • Handle full spectrum of company secretarial and administrative duties.
  • To prepare pre and post meetings documentation.
  • Attending meetings as and when required.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignment – provide assistance to other divisions/clients on company secretarial and administrative related matters.

Required Qualification & Experience

  • An Associate member of MAICSA or holder of SSM License or at least a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies or Corporate Administration or equivalent.
  • Preferably with at least 5 years’ working experience in secretarial works.
  • Organized, meticulous, deadline oriented with good time management.
  • Able to work independently and multi-task with minimum supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency, written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
