Job summary

A global financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated individual for a secretarial role, responsible for researching incorporation requirements and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate has a Professional Certificate or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in secretarial duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English is essential, while knowledge of Mandarin is a plus. A work visa will be provided if applicable, encouraging talents from various regions to join the team. Responsibilities

  • Research on incorporation requirements in various jurisdictions as directed by management.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements across different regions.
  • Assist in drafting Director and Member resolutions, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Maintain statutory documents and records in compliance with relevant acts.
  • Liaise with professionals for submissions such as annual returns and regulatory filings.
  • Provide secretarial support to international teams.

Skills

What you’ll be working on:
  • Research on incorporation requirements in various jurisdictions as directed by management.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements across different regions.
  • Assist in drafting Director and Member resolutions, minutes, and acknowledgements, ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and legal compliance.
  • Maintain and develop statutory documents and records in compliance with relevant acts and authorities.
  • Liaising with professionals in different jurisdictions for submissions such as annual returns, audited financial statements, and other regulatory filings.
  • Provide secretarial support to international teams, ensuring consistent and efficient processes.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management
What we’re looking for:
  • Must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial or equivalent.
  • Experience in different regions is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the secretarial duties or related field is required for this position.
