Job summary

A community empowerment NGO in Malaysia is seeking a Community Development Executive (CDE) to enhance the livelihoods of women through training and support. This hands-on role focuses on coordinating programs, engaging with communities, and ensuring effective project execution. Ideal candidates hold a degree in relevant fields and possess strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. The position offers a salary of up to RM3,000/month with benefits including medical allowances and paid leave.

Women of Will (WOW) is an NGO that empowers disadvantaged women in Malaysia through entrepreneurship, training and community development. We work closely with B40 women, community leaders and partners to build sustainable livelihoods and stronger communities.

What You’ll Do:

Coordinate programmes and trainings, work directly with stakeholders, monitor beneficiaries’ progress and support fieldwork, logistics and ensure smooth project execution. This role is hands‑on and community‑focused, involving regular field visits and engagement with local communities.

Requirements:

  • Either Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Social Sciences, Community Development, Business, Education or related field)
  • 0-2 years experience (fresh grads welcome!)
  • Good communication skills in BM & English
  • Able to travel frequently (must have own transport + valid license)
  • Responsible, organised, and comfortable working with communities
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace)
