The Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC) is seeking a creative, proactive, and tech-savvy Communications Executive & Digital Content to manage our online presence and support our Secretariat team across various communication and event activities. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Kuala Lumpur.

🌟 WE ARE HIRING – COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE 🌟

Key Responsibilities

1. Website & Web Portal Management

  • Maintain and update the MOGSC official website and member web portal.
  • Upload announcements, events, documents, and updates in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all web content is accurate, relevant, and user-friendly.

2. Social Media Management

  • Manage MOGSC’s LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
  • Plan, curate, and schedule content across all channels.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries, and ensure consistent branding.

3. Content Creation & Design

  • Produce simple yet professional posters, banners, and digital assets for events and announcements.
  • Create engaging write-ups, captions, and visual content.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, format, and style across all communication materials.

4. Event Support & Secretariat Assistance

  • Assist the Secretariat team during events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Support registration, coordination, documentation, and on-ground logistics.
  • Capture photos/videos when required.

5. Communications & Branding Support

  • Ensure all communication reflects MOGSC’s brand identity.
  • Assist in preparing newsletters, circulars, and member notices.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of MOGSC’s overall visibility and outreach.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Experience in social media management and basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe tools, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English (written and spoken).
  • Creative, organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to support weekend/evening events when necessary.
