Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business goals
• Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned categories (e.g., electronics, mechanical, raw materials, precision components)
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contract management
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Planning teams to ensure material readiness
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives, supply continuity, and risk-mitigation strategies
• Conduct market analysis, benchmark pricing, and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Support digitisation and process improvement initiatives across procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5-10 years' experience in Procurement / Commodity Management
• Strong background in electronics, semiconductor, battery, automotive, or high-precision manufacturing
• Proven negotiation skills and supplier management experience
• Strong understanding of cost structures, sourcing strategies, and global supply markets
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
