Job Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sourcing strategy to optimize cost and ensure continuity of supply.
• Develop and drive negotiation process and strategy to achieve cost reduction goal.
• Develop cost models and have clear understanding of cost drivers.
• Primary owner for the supplier relationship and, in accordance with the commodity strategy, drive supplier selection, development and overall supplier management.
• Leverage suppliers' capability and business opportunities at regional and global level.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure contractual terms and performance scorecards are met.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of the market locally, regionally and globally.
• Identify threats and potential supply interruptions, develop plans to reduce risk.

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of commodity and supply base management.
• Functional experience in supply chain management in global organizations.
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, to achieve requested timing and quality of assigned tasks.

• Ability to communicate at all levels, including senior management, internally and externally, for effective commodity strategy execution.
• Drives global supply base consolidation to leverage and optimize global spend.
• Develop commodity‑specific performance criteria and award/remove business based on strategy and supplier performance.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields; Master's preferred.
• Solid experience in global supply chain in manufacturing; EMS knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Minimum 5–7 years working experience managing electronic commodities.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the assigned commodity and supply base.
