About the role

As a commis chef at OITOMKK', you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes for our guests in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. This is a full-time role that will see you working closely with the culinary team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and the delivery of an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the head chef in all aspects of food preparation, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients
• Follow recipes and kitchen procedures to prepare dishes to the highest standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work station
• Help with plating and presentation of dishes
• Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Work as part of a team to support the wider kitchen operations
