Overview

Assist with the preparation of food items according to menu specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Help in chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients for different dishes. Organize and maintain your designated work area, ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times. Assist with cooking tasks such as grilling, boiling, frying, and baking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff. Help in garnishing and plating food for service, ensuring it is visually appealing and meets restaurant standards. Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring that food is prepared and stored correctly. Maintain cleanliness of your work area and ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use. Adhere to proper food safety standards, such as hygiene practices, food handling, and storage. Maintain an organized and efficient workstation, ensuring that all ingredients and tools are readily available. Ensure the proper storage and rotation of ingredients, following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices. Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen after service to ensure readiness for the next day. Assist other chefs in the kitchen by preparing ingredients or supporting them in cooking tasks during service.
