Duties and responsibilities
- Contract Management: Oversee and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements; optimize contract terms for profitability and risk management; implement procedures to ensure sustainability and performance; forecast sales and budgets, and evaluate innovative strategies.
- Business Development: Identify and improve business processes within BD; oversee continuous improvement initiatives and expansion plans aligned with business objectives.
- Project Coordination: Ensure renewable energy projects are executed smoothly from initiation to completion; collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders; ensure operations run smoothly and adhere to policies; achieve QPC objectives and targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders; address customer inquiries and maximize satisfaction.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on commercial performance, operational issues, and strategic recommendations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulations and standards; identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree in Engineering, Finance or Business; MBA is an advantage; 8–10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies such as solar or energy storage systems.
- Preferably working experience in multinational company with standard practices; experience in managing renewable energy organization or similar industries is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in business development in similar industries.
- Business savvy with techno‑commercial business development experience.
