Job description

To be responsible for the Group’s ocean freight, port operations and inland logistics to customer delivery including but not limited to strategizing and commercial negotiations to achieve delivery objectives including bulk cargo vessel and container deliveries worldwide.

To recommend constructive proposals to enhance overall group wide logistics, safety and distribution network; compliance to statutory requirements, both local and international.

To lead and review cost savings opportunities on logistics to meet and exceed the Management’s operational cost objectives and KPIs.

To be responsible for full the spectrum of procurement functions such as sourcing, cost/contract negotiation and analysis of bulk raw material purchasing.

To initiate and coordinate any raw material tender process, to compare, evaluate and summarize quotations and bids received for tender committee review and decision.

To uphold the Group’s business ethics and Code of Conduct in all transaction and comply with the Group’s Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role handling logistics, commercial procurement and business development.

Strong results-driven individual with excellent analytical, negotiation, and commercial decision-making skills; able to work independently and resourcefully.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate strong business acumen with proven leadership capabilities in driving revenue growth and managing commercial risks.

Position to be based in Ara Damansara.
