Job summary

SolarVest Holdings Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Development Engineer to drive technical proposals and feasibility studies for commercial and industrial solar projects in Malaysia.

You will collaborate with sales and design teams to deliver optimized, cost-effective solutions and ensure designs meet regulatory standards. The role requires 2–4 years in project development, proficiency with PV design tools, and strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 2–4 years of project development or proposal engineering experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Experience with commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects preferred.
• Proficiency in solar design software PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope.
• Knowledge of Malaysian renewable energy policies and grid interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals and cost estimates with the sales and design teams.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for C&I solar projects.
• Design system layouts and SLDs, optimize equipment and configurations.
• Coordinate with procurement to source materials and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and grid requirements.
