A financial institution in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Commercial Banking Team Lead and Account Relationship Manager. This role involves managing existing commercial banking clients and acquiring new ones to enhance portfolio growth. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or Economics and at least 5 years of experience in commercial loan or sales. Responsibilities include writing credit applications, monitoring revenue optimization, and working closely with product partners to deliver holistic client solutions.
To manage existing and acquire new commercial banking clients to the bank. This role will report to the Business Center Manager.
Account Management & Growth: Acquire new account relationships and manage existing Commercial Banking portfolio to grow both funded and non-funded income through value-added advice and customized financial solutions.
Write credit applications for new accounts and ensure timely review and renewal of existing facilities.
Maintain acceptable asset quality through proactive market intelligence and compliance with credit lending policies.
Ensure key risks are adequately addressed in credit applications before submission to Wholesale Credit.
Revenue Optimization: Monitor and encourage utilization of existing facilities to increase revenue.
Follow through with clients to ensure acceptance and drawdown of banking facilities.
Work closely with product partners (Trade Services, Global Markets, Deposit & Liability Management) to meet client requirements holistically.
