Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Collector for our Tele-Collection team. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective tele-calling strategies to improve recovery rates and manage outstanding debts.

This role requires adherence to local regulatory guidelines, global credit standards, the credit policy manual, collections procedures, and forbearance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tele Debt Recovery

  • Conduct tele-calling to contact clients with outstanding debts.
  • Effectively communicate with clients to negotiate settlements, installment plans, and composite payments.
  • To meet monthly target/objectives set by the Group, Company & Department.

Compliance and Adherence:

  • Ensure all tele-collection activities comply with local regulatory guidelines.
  • Adhere to the bank's global credit standards, credit policy manual, collections procedures, and forbearance standards.

Strategy Implementation:

  • Implement strategies to improve recovery rates.
  • Utilize settlements, installment plans, and composite payments as per the defined strategy.

Client Interaction

  • Maintain a professional conduct in all client interactions.
  • Provide accurate information and support to client regarding their outstanding debts and available payment options.
  • To communicate professionally and assist clients who are going through financial difficulties.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Accurately document all client interactions and agreements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on tele-collection activities and recovery rates.
Experiences, Skills & Qualification
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Diploma & bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
  • Business correspondence skills with excel and proficiency of English – written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tele-collection, ideally supported by 1 -3 years of experience within the banking sector.
  • Excellent understanding of local regulatory guidelines and global credit standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
