Job summary

Allnex Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Melaka is seeking a Production Manager to lead safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement across the site. You will oversee production performance, cost management, process optimisation, and collaboration with Commercial, Supply Chain, Technical, Engineering, and SHE teams to achieve business objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and experience in chemical coatings

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of manufacturing experience with 3-5 years in people leadership or management.
• Experience in chemical, resin, coatings, polymers, or batch manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, operational excellence and CI initiatives.
• Strong leadership, coaching and frontline engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and zero-incident targets across production.
• Manage daily operations to meet output, quality and efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with Technical, Engineering and SHE to optimise processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee manpower planning, scheduling, leave approvals and overtime.
