Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad in Malaysia seeks a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines for precision machining, following drawings and specifications. You will monitor performance, perform basic maintenance, and assist with mould and tooling needs while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or certificate in a relevant field, with CNC experience preferred. Overtime is required at times, and safety and quality procedures are a priority.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in CNC machining is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines for precision machining.
• Perform CNC machining according to drawings and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure product quality.
• Carry out basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments.
• Support mould, tooling, and production requirements.
• Maintain proper records of machining and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.
