Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines according to job orders.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials based on job requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings and machine parts to customer specifications.
• Perform program editing as needed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect finished parts.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams when necessary.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• SPM/STPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Precision Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with 3 to 4-axis CNC milling machines.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
• Able to work independently and maintain tight tolerances during machining operations.
• Willing to work overtime based on production demands.
• Familiar with quality inspection processes and skilled in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
