Job summary

techstreet in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, is seeking an hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. You will deploy infrastructure as code with Terraform, operate EC2, EKS, ALB, VPC, and Auto Scaling, and monitor performance with CloudWatch while supporting incident response and DR activities.

You will administer Windows Server and Linux environments, tune performance, manage IAM, Security Groups, and Network ACLs, and implement security best practices using AWS services

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with EC2, EKS, VPC, ALB, CloudWatch and Auto Scaling.
• Proven experience deploying and managing AWS resources using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Terraform modules, state management, and dependency management.
• Strong administration skills in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
• Knowledge of system performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage storage services, snapshots, backups, and recovery activities.

• Troubleshoot Terraform deployment and configuration issues.
• Monitor AWS workloads using CloudWatch and other operational tools.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and alerts.
• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Configure and manage Security Groups, Network ACLs, and IAM roles and permissions.
• Knowledge of AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub).
• Experience with backup and restore processes and failover validation.

This role involves managing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure, deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform, monitoring cloud operations, administering Windows and Linux environments, managing security operations, and supporting disaster recovery and deployment activities.

Key responsibilities

About you
