The New Roles:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
• Utilize automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy and configure cloud services and resources efficiently.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security, implementing proactive measures to optimize system health.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and connectivity challenges.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption protocols, and network security configurations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and knowledge sharing to internal teams including developers, system administrators, and network engineers.

Requirements to succeed

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
