Job Overview

As a Junior Cloud Engineer (Azure), you will support the deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will assist senior engineers, help troubleshoot cloud issues, implement basic security controls, and contribute to cost optimization initiatives, building your expertise in cloud engineering and enterprise technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high service availability.
• Implement and maintain basic security controls for cloud resources.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related technical issues.Support cost monitoring and optimization efforts for Azure resources.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on cloud deployment, automation, and operational tasks.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with Azure Portal, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) is a plus.
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) are an advantage.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation or monitoring tools is desirable.
• Strong interest in cloud technologies, automation, and continuous learning.
• Good problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Fluency in Chinese-speaking is an advantage to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues across Greater China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Proactive, collaborative, and motivated to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
