This role involves direct patient interaction, supporting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The candidate must be flexible and able to work on a rotational shift, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties
- Greet, register and assist patients upon arrival.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Handle phone calls, patient inquiries, and appointment reminders.
- Support billing processes and insurance documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
- Clinical Support
- Assist doctors during procedures when required.
- Clean, prepare and disinfect examination rooms and tools.
- Monitor stock levels of medical supplies and reorder as needed.
- Manage specimen collection, labelling and transportation.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures is preferred. Otherwise, training will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Training will be provided for clinic management software.
