Qualifications

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • To provide insightful, relevant, succinct, and timely credit analysis of a portfolio of SCB’s clients (current or prospective).
  • Perform periodic reviews on a portfolio of Business Banking Medium Enterprise clients to identify any emerging credit deterioration and recommend remedial action, if any.
  • Maintain market awareness so as to be vigilant of trends affecting existing and future credit exposure including regulatory and policy changes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s credit risk underwriting policies and other internal policies, regulatory guidelines and other operating procedures.
  • Analysis of financial documentation and supplemental data to support lending decision-making and recommending credit requests to appropriately meet business needs.
  • Personally develop and maintain strong working relationships with Relationship Managers along with Client Coverage Managers and Credit Approvers to ensure that all risks to the business, financial and non-financial, are properly recognized and thoughtfully mitigated in proposals.
  • Ensure that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required high quality standard.
  • Pro-actively suggest and design improvements in process workflow, where applicable.
  • Support Team Leader and others in the team on ad hoc projects, strategic initiatives and exercises aimed at improving or enhancing the team’s activities.
  • Continually strive to share key relevant knowledge and learnings with others across the team.
Experiences and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics / accounting / Finance or a related discipline
