Responsibility

• Cleaners and helpers in houses, offices, hotels and other establishments perform various cleaning tasks in order to keep clean and tidy the interiors and fixtures of house, hotels, offices and other establishments, as well as of aircraft, trains, buses and similar vehicles.
• Tasks include – sweeping or vacuum cleaning, washing and polishing floors, furniture and other.
• Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, supplying towels, soap and related items;
• Cleaning kitchens and generally helping with kitchen work, including dishwashing;
• Picking up rubbish, emptying garbage containers and taking contents to waste areas to removal.

Tanggungjawab

• Pembantu pembersihan dan pembantu rumah di rumah, pejabat, hotel dan lain-lain premis menjalankan pelbagai tugas pembersihan bagi memastikan bahagian dalaman dan peralatan rumah, hotel, pejabat serta premis lain, termasuk pesawat terbang, kereta api, bas dan kenderaan seumpamanya bersih dan kemas.
• Tugas-tugas termasuk – menyapu atau membersihkan dengan vakum, mencuci dan mempolish lantai, perabot dan lain-lain.
• Menyediakan katil, membersihkan bilik mandi, membekalkan tuala, sabun dan barangan berkaitan;
• Membersihkan dapur dan membantu secara umum dengan kerja dapur, termasuk mencuci pinggan mangkuk;
• Mengutip sampah, mengosongkan tong sampah dan membawa isi kandungannya ke kawasan pelupusan.
